Looks like regime change is still on the menu.

It needs to be or Washington will likely just be faced with a rinse & repeat situation going forward in Iran. Thank you for reading & commenting.

Best to you, Mark

Trump's continued humiliations of EU countries have made Europeans as resentful as Trump himself. There is nothing positive in this for either side, only benefits for our enemies. We Europeans have a short-term perspective: we will pay a heavy price for our weaknes in the face of the TRUE enemy: the axis of evil.

Hi Mark! Thanks for my 4th bingo (if I remember correctly), even if it's for a sad reason. Greetings from Belgium !

DATELINE KYIV - DAY 1500 : 4426

Good post. Timely, insightful and thought-provoking commentary. It's my personal opinion that the late political decision to go to war with Iran was deeply flawed, but also important to bear in mind that by all appearances our armed forces have acquitted themselves with distinction to date.

CENTCOM commander ADM Brad Cooper inspires confidence that we might yet indeed find the means to make a silk purse out of the sow's ear.

Blessed be the peacemakers.

The address was, IMO, lethargic, full of falsehoods, grandiose takes, and basically the same things he's been rambling about the last month.

I agree that not stating detailed military plans is imperative! That would have been bad!

All in all, it did not really explain why we are there nor boost my (mine, at least) confidence that he knows what he's doing or even understands how "things" work here at home or globally.
